Untrusted-data deserialization in AVEVA Enterprise SCADA and Enterprise SCADA HMI allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The BinarySerializer accepts attacker-tampered Binary Formatter data and deserializes it instead of restricting input to JSON. Access requires DNA Authority - Operator privileges, and resulting code executes under the Enterprise SCADA DNA Apps security group.
