Authenticated code execution via crafted SMASH command
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Stack overflow in Supermicro X13SEDW-F BMC firmware 01.04.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The SMASH-CLP shell fails to bound crafted command data before it overwrites the stack return address and processor registers.
