Unauthenticated database manipulation via unsanitized password input
Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Electricity Billing System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate the database through a password change request. The /user/change_password.php endpoint inserts the POST new_password value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login or authorization is required; the demonstrated payload classes enable database reads and manipulation, while time delays interrupt request handling.
