CVE-2025-7578Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized cmd argument

Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025

Command injection in Teledyne FLIR Elara FB-Series O and FH-Series ID 1.3.2.16 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The runcmd.sh sendCommand function passes the attacker-controlled cmd argument to a command interpreter without neutralizing shell metacharacters. The developer backdoor CGI is currently disabled by server configuration errors, so exploitation requires that path to become functional.
