Management credential disclosure via unauthenticated password retrieval
Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
Information disclosure in six LB-LINK router models at version 20250702 allows remote attackers to obtain the management password. The /cgi-bin/lighttpd.cgi handler invokes libblinkapi.so's bs_GetManPwd function without enforcing access control and returns the stored web-interface login credential. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; disclosure enables administrative login but does not directly alter data or interrupt service.
