CVE-2025-7565Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Plaintext password disclosure via geteasycfg

Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025

Information disclosure in LB-LINK BL-AC3600 1.0.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to retrieve the router's plaintext password. The unauthenticated geteasycfg function in /cgi-bin/lighttpd.cgi processes a crafted Password argument and exposes the stored credential without enforcing access control. Network access to the web management interface is sufficient, and the disclosed password enables later authenticated access to router settings.
