Authenticated database manipulation via unparameterized voter insert
Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Voting System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate the voters database through admin requests. The /admin/voters_add.php handler inserts firstname and lastname POST values directly into an SQL INSERT statement without parameter binding. Administrative access is required; successful injection can read or modify database contents under the application's database privileges.
