Authenticated code execution via unchecked page formatting
Published Jul 13, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Shenzhen Tenda Technology FH1202 1.2.0.14(408) allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The fromNatlimit handler passes the user-controlled page value to sprintf without a length check, overflowing its stack buffer s. Low-privilege access to the router's HTTP management interface is required; successful requests can crash the device or execute code in the firmware context.
