Authenticated command execution via newline filter bypass
Published Jul 13, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025
Command injection in the HTTP POST handler in TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The setDiagnosisCfg function passes the ip parameter to a system command after Validity_check applies a blacklist that newline characters bypass. Low-privilege access to the router interface is required, and successful requests execute attacker-supplied commands with the web service's device privileges.
