Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized Search parameter
Published Jul 12, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025
SQL injection in search.php in Code Projects Job Diary 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data through a crafted Search value. The page inserts the POST search parameter directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, allowing quotes and operators to change the query. No login is required; demonstrated boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads can read or tamper with data within the database account's permissions.
