Authenticated code execution via unchecked page formatting
Published Jul 12, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
Stack buffer overflow in Tenda FH1201 1.2.0.14 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted HTTP POST request. The fromSafeUrlFilter handler passes the attacker-controlled page value to sprintf without a length check, overflowing a fixed-size stack buffer. Access to the authenticated router administration interface is required; successful exploitation can execute code or interrupt routing service.
