CVE-2025-7464Network attack vector

Service interruption via undersized RTR message parsing

Published Jul 12, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in GoBGP 3.0 through 3.37.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a malformed RTR message. RTR parsing accepted buffers as short as one byte before code read the fixed-length header required by ParseRTR. An unauthenticated network path to an RPKI RTR session is required, and the published impact is limited to reduced service availability.
