Arbitrary file write via unsanitized upload paths
Published Jul 11, 2025 · Updated Jul 11, 2025
Path traversal in the Gorobbs API 1.0.0 through 1.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary server files. ResetUserAvatar concatenates the user-controlled avatar filename and route id into an upload path, then passes it to SaveUploadedFile without containment validation. A valid account and a crafted multipart upload are required; traversal sequences can place attacker-supplied content outside the avatar directory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
