CVE-2025-7432

Secret-key extraction via unreseeded DPA countermeasures

Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026

DPA weakness in Silicon Labs Simplicity SDK before 2025.12.0 allows physically proximate attackers to extract secret keys through power analysis. On Series 2 devices, the DPA countermeasure state is not reseeded under certain conditions, leaving repeated operations insufficiently randomized against differential power analysis. Exploitation requires physical access, high attack complexity, and an additional execution condition; the reported consequence is key disclosure only.
