Authenticated command execution via unsanitized domain parameter
Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Jul 10, 2025
OS command injection in Tenda O3 firmware 1.0.0.12(3880) allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via HTTP. The httpd fromNetToolGet function passes the domain parameter from /goform/setPingInfo directly to an operating-system command without validating metacharacters. An administrative session cookie is required in the published request, and successful injection can start a root shell on the appliance.
