Authenticated code execution via unchecked profile image upload
Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Jul 10, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in code-projects Library System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a profile image. The image handler in /user/student/profile.php accepts a multipart image value without extension, MIME-type, or content checks and stores it under an executable web path. A student session is required; the uploaded PHP file is web-accessible and executes with the web server's privileges.
