OS command injection in diag.cgi in NETGEAR D6400 1.0.0.114 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The httpd handler passes the attacker-controlled host_name value to the operating system without validating or neutralizing command syntax. Valid administrator credentials are required; successful exploitation can start a shell service and execute commands with the router's privileges.
