Traffic disclosure and modification via weak cipher suites
Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Weak cryptography in Broadcom Brocade Active Support Connectivity Gateway before 3.3.0 allows local users to read or alter protected traffic. Services on internal ports 9000 and 8036 negotiate medium-strength cipher suites instead of restricting connections to strong algorithms. Access to the appliance's local environment is required, and exploitation is limited to traffic confidentiality and integrity on those ports.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
