Stored XSS via insufficient iframe content filtering
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025
Stored XSS in Drupal Cookies Addons 1.0.0 through 1.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted iframe content. The Embed Iframe format filter removes iframe source attributes but does not sufficiently sanitize user-supplied markup before restoring the content after consent. Exploitation requires the submodule plus permission to use an iframe-enabled text format, and script executes when another user views the content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
