CVE-2025-7371

Password disclosure via sensitive data logging

Published Jul 22, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025

Sensitive-data exposure in Okta Provisioning Agent 2.2.1 through 2.3.0 allows local users to read temporary passwords from agent logs. During administrator-initiated resets, the OPP agent writes personal data and generated temporary passwords into local log files without excluding secrets. Access requires entry to the agent server, and an affected account must have undergone an administrator-initiated reset while a vulnerable version ran.
