Stored XSS in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki Title Icon allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript through crafted page content. IconManager wraps the #titleicon_unicode value in HtmlArmor without sanitization or validation, then renders it into page headings and search results. The affected ranges are 1.39.x before 1.39.13, 1.42.x before 1.42.7, and 1.43.x before 1.43.2; page-edit permission and a victim page view are required.
