Stored XSS in affected MsUpload 1.39.x, 1.42.x, and 1.43.x releases lets remote authenticated users run scripts in editors' browsers. In resources/MsUpload.js, mw.msg retrieves msu-continue as text and jQuery append interprets it as raw HTML when a duplicate filename is uploaded. Exploitation requires upload access and victim interaction; affected branches are 1.39.x before 1.39.13, 1.42.x before 1.42.7, and 1.43.x before 1.43.2.
