FTP credential disclosure via cleartext system logging
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Cleartext credential storage in LITEON IC 48A before 01.00.19r and IC 80A before 01.01.12e allows remote attackers to read FTP credentials. Affected firmware writes FTP server access credentials directly into system log entries without protecting their secrecy. Network access to an affected charger is sufficient to expose the credentials; no ability to alter charger data or interrupt charging is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
