Process crash via malformed multipart boundary

Uncaught exception in Multer 1.4.4-lts.1 through 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to crash the Node.js process via a malformed upload. The makeMiddleware file handler registers file-stream error handling after an early-return path, so an empty filename followed by a truncated final boundary emits an unhandled error. A multipart upload route reachable without authentication is sufficient to interrupt its hosting process, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
