Code execution via malformed DWG file parsing
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025
Memory corruption in the CADImage Plugin for IrfanView 4.70.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted DWG file. The DWG parser processes user-supplied file data without proper validation, allowing malformed content to corrupt process memory. Opening the file or visiting a page that supplies it is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the IrfanView process.
