Code execution via malformed DXF parsing
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025
Memory corruption in the CADImage Plugin for IrfanView 4.70.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted DXF file. The DXF parser fails to validate user-supplied file data adequately, resulting in a memory-corruption condition. Exploitation requires the target to open the malicious file or visit a malicious page, and code runs in the context of the IrfanView process.
