Code execution via 3DM parser out-of-bounds write
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in KeyShot Studio before 2025.2 allows remote attackers to execute code by supplying a malicious 3DM file. The 3DM parser fails to validate user-controlled data before writing beyond an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires the target to open the file or visit a page that delivers it, and resulting code runs in the current process.
