CVE-2025-7204Network attack vector

Password-hash disclosure via overbroad API user objects

Published Jul 9, 2025 · Updated Jul 10, 2025

Sensitive information exposure in ConnectWise PSA before 2025.9 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve other users' encrypted password hashes. The affected API requests serialize and return an overly verbose user object that includes password hashes belonging to other accounts. Any authenticated account can collect the hashes for offline brute-force or dictionary attacks, risking credential compromise and privilege escalation without changing data or interrupting service.
