Unauthorized database access via unsanitized Search parameter
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 9, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Jonnys Liquor 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter database data through the Search parameter. The browse.php handler places the GET-supplied Search value directly into an SQL query without sanitization or validation, allowing SQL syntax to change the query. No login or authorization is required, and demonstrated boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads disclose database contents and permit database changes.
