Authenticated command execution via unneutralized ssdpcgi input
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 9, 2025
Command injection in D-Link DIR-645 1.05B01 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through ssdpcgi. The ssdpcgi_main function in /htdocs/cgibin fails to neutralize attacker-controlled input before command execution; public material does not identify the exact parameter or shell call. Authenticated access to the router interface is required, and successful commands can read or alter device data or interrupt service.
