Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized ID parameter
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
SQL injection in /user/addmember.php in code-projects Chat System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via ID. The endpoint sends the attacker-controlled ID argument into SQL processing without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, changing the intended query. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account and network access to the endpoint and can expose, modify, or disrupt application database records.
