Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized member ID
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 9, 2025
SQL injection in code-projects Chat System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the ID parameter. /user/fetch_member.php incorporates the attacker-controlled ID value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax; the responsible function is undisclosed. A low-privileged application account is required, and successful requests execute attacker-controlled SQL within the database permissions granted to the application.
