CVE-2025-7182Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unencoded prerequisite value

Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in Student Transcript Processing System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through the pre parameter. The subject-edit flow accepts pre without validation or output encoding and later renders its stored value when the course list is viewed. Submitting the payload requires no authorization, but execution requires a user to view the affected page; the script can alter content and act within that user's session.
