Authenticated code execution via unfiltered photo upload
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects E-commerce Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through a user photo. The users_photo.php handler passes the client-supplied filename to move_uploaded_file under the web-accessible images directory without checking its extension or content type. Administrator access and a writable images directory are required; a successfully uploaded PHP file executes server-side code when requested.
