Authenticated command execution via unsanitized Hostname
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK N200RE builds 9.3.5u.6095_B20200916 and 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216 allows remote authenticated users to run commands. The setOpModeCfg path reaches sub_41A0F8, which passes a nonempty hostName value containing shell metacharacters to doSystem without neutralization. Low-privileged access to the network management CGI is required, after which injected commands execute in the router firmware context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
