CVE-2025-71374Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via undetected Profile.run reduce target

Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026

Detection bypass in picklescan before 0.0.29 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted pickle file. The scanner does not classify profile.Profile.run as dangerous when a pickle reduce method returns it, so the file passes inspection. Execution occurs only after a recipient relies on the clean scan result and deserializes the file, at which point the supplied command runs with that process's privileges.
