Arbitrary file access via unvalidated chatflow identifiers
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Path traversal in Flowise before 3.0.6 allows remote attackers to read or write arbitrary files through unauthenticated API requests. The addBase64FilesToStorage and streamStorageFile functions pass unvalidated chatflowId and chatId values into filesystem or object-key paths, allowing ../ segments to escape the intended storage namespace. The exposed routes require no authentication; arbitrary writes can alter application-accessible files and lead to code execution, while reads disclose stored data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
