Unauthenticated file upload via path traversal
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Path traversal in Flowise 2.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary files through the unauthenticated attachments API. The local-storage branch of addArrayFilesToStorage joins unvalidated chatflowId and chatId values into the destination directory before writing the supplied file. Exploitation requires network access and local storage, the default setting, and enables overwriting files writable by the server process.
