Local system crash via unchecked buffer ring

NULL pointer dereference in the amdgpu driver in affected Linux Kernel releases allows local users to crash the system during GPU initialization. In amdgpu_device_ip_init(), the code reads buffer_funcs_ring->sched.ready without checking whether disabled SDMA left buffer_funcs_ring NULL. Exploitation requires a Linux host using the amdgpu driver with SDMA disabled; the documented consequence is loss of system availability.
