Command injection in Zimbra Collaboration 8.8.15 allows remote attackers to execute system commands through crafted SMTP recipient input. The rejected CVE record duplicates CVE-2024-45519; PostJournal insufficiently sanitizes the RCPT TO value before shell processing, so expansion syntax becomes commands. Exploitation requires network access to SMTP and an enabled PostJournal service, and commands run in the Zimbra service context.
