Internal service access via unvalidated searchWeb URL
Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026
Blind SSRF in searchWeb in BMC FootPrints 20.20.02 through 20.24.01.001 allows remote authenticated users to initiate outbound requests. The /footprints/servicedesk/import/searchWeb endpoint accepts the url parameter without restricting its destination and makes the request from the server. A valid application session is required; reachable destinations can be probed for internal services, and requests can consume server resources.
