Remote denial of service via improper IMS validation
Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026
Improper input validation in Unisoc Modem IMS on chipsets running Android 13 through 16 allows remote attackers to cause denial of service. Unisoc has not disclosed which IMS input is mishandled or which validation operation is missing in the modem component. Network reachability requires no authentication, privileges, or user interaction, and successful exploitation interrupts service availability.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
