Authenticated database access via unsanitized coursepg input
Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
SQL injection in Employee Management System Project in PHP 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database data via coursepg. The /admin/editempeducation.php handler places the POST coursepg value into an SQL query without sanitization or validation, enabling boolean- and time-based blind query manipulation. A valid authenticated session cookie is required, and the demonstrated exploit establishes unauthorized database queries rather than broader system control.
