Authenticated script execution via unencoded images href
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Reflected XSS in Typesetter CMS 5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted images[] value. In include/tool/Editing.php, link generation places that value directly in an href attribute without context-aware encoding or blocking the javascript scheme. Editing privileges and user interaction are required; successful exploitation runs the supplied script with the affected user's browser-session privileges.
