Memory leak in the Linux kernel's STM32 SAI ASoC driver allows local users to interrupt service through repeated probe failures. The platform probe retains the reference acquired for the sync-provider device-tree node when probing is deferred or otherwise fails, and driver unbind also omits the release. Reachability requires the STM32 SAI driver and a probe-failure or re-probe path; repeated failures exhaust memory, while DAI re-probing without rebinding creates a use-after-free condition.
