Credential and task interception via disabled TLS verification
Published Jan 12, 2026 · Updated Jan 12, 2026
Improper certificate validation in Errands before 46.2.10 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept CalDAV credentials and task data. The CalDAV provider passes ssl_verify_cert=False to DAVClient, disabling certificate verification for configured server connections. Exposure requires a network position capable of intercepting the CalDAV connection; background synchronization can trigger it without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
