Unauthenticated root access via default Telnet credentials
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Authentication bypass in UTT HiPER 810 / nv810v4 firmware 1.5.0-140603 allows remote attackers to gain root access over Telnet. The Telnet service accepts factory-default credentials for a privileged account without requiring an administrator-changed secret. The service must be network-reachable with its default credentials unchanged; successful login grants control of the router under the root account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
