Authenticated code execution via web.config upload
Published Mar 5, 2026 · Updated Mar 5, 2026
Code injection in the ASDK API 8.6 of Aranda Service Desk Web Edition allows remote authenticated users to execute server code via file upload. The /ASDKAPI/api/v8.6/item/addfile endpoint accepts a crafted web.config file without rejecting its dangerous extension, and ASP.NET applies the uploaded configuration to compile attacker-controlled content. A valid application session is required; successful exploitation provides remote command execution on affected on-premises and SaaS servers without further user interaction.
