Authenticated privilege escalation via tenant-blind route authorization
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Improper access control in SpringBlade 4.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges through authRoutes. MenuController.authRoutes passes role identifiers to menuService.authRoutes, which returns role-based routes without distinguishing administrative and ordinary tenants. Low-level credentials are required, and the exposed route authorities enable access beyond the user's tenant role.
