CVE-2025-70963Public exploitNetwork attack vector

API credential theft via dashboard key embedding

Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026

Information disclosure in Gophish 0.12.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to obtain an administrator's long-lived API key. The administrative dashboard serializes the key in cleartext into an embedded JavaScript user object, exposing it to every script that can read the page DOM. Exploitation requires code execution in an administrator's browser context, after which the key grants REST API access that persists beyond the web session.
